Sezer CANPOLAT
Sezer Canpolat completed his high school education at Çarşamba Science High School and then graduated from the Psychology Department at Okan University. He completed his master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an academic study examining the relationship between somatization and mentalization within a psychoanalytic theoretical framework.
Following her undergraduate and graduate studies, she specialized in psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy. She completed Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Training with Prof. Dr. Doğan Şahin and also received training in Personality Theories, Personality Disorders, and Psychodynamic Therapy from Dr. Görkem Gökçelioğlu. She also completed Sex Therapy Training, based on psychodynamic theory, and continues to work in this field.
In addition to her psychotherapy training, she has also been actively involved in various fields based on human contact, such as creative drama training, and has implemented practices aimed at supporting the emotional, social and creative development of individuals.
She currently practices psychodynamic individual psychotherapy, informed by psychoanalytic theory, with adolescents and adults. During the therapy process, she adopts an in-depth and structured approach aimed at understanding clients' inner worlds, defense mechanisms, and relationship patterns.
